Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC: 30 Years of Collaboration

We have been in the bottling business in the U.S. since 1980 when we acquired Pepcom, now known as Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC -- a joint venture company between Suntory and PepsiCo. We partner with PepsiCo not only in the U.S. market, but also in Japan, New Zealand, Spain and Vietnam.

Suntory Flowers Ltd.: A Blooming Business

Since the 1980s, Suntory has applied its bio technology insights, gathered through basic research of liquor, to the research and development of flowers. In 1989, Suntory entered into the flower seedlings business through the launch of the Surfinia brand. By the 1990s, our flower business expanded beyond Japan, and in 2004, through our sustained Yatte Minahare spirit, Suntory succeeded in developing the world's first blue rose, which was long believed to be an impossibility.

Suntory's Flowers Ltd. currently runs business in more than 20 countries around the world, in both the seedling and cut-flower businesses. We continue our efforts to launch products that bring added value to consumers in pursuit of "a lifestyle with flowers."
