Our philosophy

Coexistence

We coexist in rhythm with nature. Always have, always will. We never take too much because we believe abundance is rooted in balance, not excess.

To those that have been given a lot, much is expected. Suntory has been given a precious resource -- cool, clear water. It's the foundation of our business and empowers us to be the company that we are.

That's why we're taking the lead in ecological conservation and restoration efforts to keep water in its purest and most abundant form for future generations. Just as we strive to coexist with nature, we also seek to find harmony in the communities in which we work and live. That means continuing the legacy of our founder, Shinjiro Torii, to improve the lives of those around us. Hojukai, which we founded as free community clinic in 1921, is now a social welfare organization, operating several facilities including a special care facility for seniors as well as a nursery. And with the Suntory Foundation for the Arts and Suntory Hall, we're committed to enriching people's lives through art, culture and humanities. We owe this to nature, our customers, our employees and our communities. It's our way of saying thank you.
