A Message from our CEO

Dare to imagine, dare to question, dare to take risks, and embrace the unknown. This is Yatte Minahare! At Suntory, it is with this spirit of bold ambition that we built our first whisky distillery and grew it to the global consumer packaged goods powerhouse we are today.

Whether developing imaginative new products, venturing into unfamiliar markets or embracing opportunities to better coexist with nature and our communities, Suntory confidently steps up to the challenge. Our philosophy to continually create harmony with people and nature as we relentlessly pursue perfection is the unchanging foundation of the Suntory Group as we expand to deliver the highest quality products and services to our customers around the world.

Bringing our products to the United States is no exception. We like to think we have a special relationship with America. You love big ideas, entrepreneurs and international flavors, and so do we.

While many in the U.S. might know us best for our premium Japanese whiskies, Suntory products have been available in the U.S. for more than half a century. We currently run our beverage business through Pepsi Bottling Ventures, a joint venture between Suntory and PepsiCo. And in 2014, we acquired Beam Inc, creating Beam Suntory, the world's third-largest premium spirits company. With our colleagues at Beam Suntory and through ongoing ventures in the U.S., we remain committed to delivering quality products to our customers in the U.S. and North America.

As we continue to expand globally, our scale and ambition will never compromise our deep commitment to growing for good. We remain committed to coexisting with nature and our communities wherever we do business. It is not only our responsibility, but our way of saying thank you to the planet and the people who have made all we do possible.
