Introducing the United States to Japanese Premium Craft Gin and Vodka: Meet ROKU and HAKU
For nearly a century, customers around the world have enjoyed the award-winning and distinct flavor of House of Suntory whisky with friends and loved ones. We take pride in the craftsmanship behind every sip of our products, including Japanese whisky and further spirit products.
Now, we're excited to announce the U.S. release of two new spirits, Japanese Gin ROKU and Japanese Vodka HAKU, that embody our founder Shinjiro Torii's philosophy of craftsmanship: a relentless pursuit of perfection, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Created from Japanese ingredients by the master artisans at the House of Suntory, the Founding House of Japanese Whisky, ROKU Gin and HAKU Vodka represent the nature and spirit of Japan.
ROKU's complex, multi layered, yet harmonious flavor is achieved through balancing eight traditional gin botanicals with six unique Japanese botanicals. The Japanese botanicals - Sakura leaf, Sakura flower, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea, and Sansho pepper - are harvested in accordance with "shun," the Japanese tradition of enjoying each ingredient at its best by only harvesting at its peak of flavor and perfection. The result is a harmonious gin with a smooth and silky texture.
HAKU is a Japanese premium craft vodka made from 100 percent Japanese white rice. HAKU begins its distillation process in Kagoshima, Kyushu, a region well-known for rice spirit making. Created through the unique process of fermenting rice, distilling it twice and then filtering it through bamboo charcoal, our vodka boasts a clear, clean, and luminous flavor that represents an iconic ingredient of Japan.
We are thrilled to introduce the United States to the meticulous craft of Japanese vodka and gin. Keep up with us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram as we continue to bring the taste of Japan to the world.
